Saxon has a unique ability and perspective as an artist.
Shooting with Saxon has enabled me to watch the way he interprets the scene, which is often wildly different than how I would go about it, based on my own experience and my vision.
Saxon’s vision is fresh and experimental. He’s not bound by his history and his training, and since he’s still learning and playing with his craft, he’s constantly trying new things.
Saxon has taught me how to be more playful, experiential & to take more risks in my current work.
I’ve realized these are hugely important characteristics as an artist, that I’m confident I might not have nurtured as deeply without Saxon’s vision, at this stage of my career.
This winter has gifted us with breathtaking sunsets as storms have moved through California during this wet and somewhat tropical season.
Recently Saxon and I embarked on a quest to capture the beauty unfolding in Solana Beach at sunset…
As the sun began its descent, the sky transformed into a regal canvas of fiery orange, seamlessly mirrored in the ebbing tide.
The beach was alive with joy as people played with their dogs, surfed, and strolled along the shoreline, embracing the tranquility of the moment…
Whether he is riding the waves, gliding on a foil, or diving into the depths with his camera, Saxon truly flourishes in his natural element – the ocean.
Witnessing Saxon pursue his passion and having the privilege to join him brings me immeasurable happiness.
I am proud to introduce Saxon’s newest release, Solana Skies.
